Welcome to Shingrig Road Allotments, why not volunteer, become a member or arrange an educational visit.
Shingrig Road Allotments has been in existence for over 50 years and we have recently started to develop our site, creating a pollinator garden, a school resource, an apiary and some wildlife areas.
This is being done by our volunteers and we would be happy for you to join in and help.
We are a constituted community group (known as Shingrig Road Allotments Association) and are run by an elected management committee.
Our organisation’s aims are to:
- To provide a community facility for residents of Nelson of all ages
- To promote healthy lifestyles and eating
- To improve the local environment
We are a non‐political and non‐religious organisation and promote equal opportunities in all activities.
